388th FW F-16 Fighter Pilot HGU-2A/P USAF Flight Helmet & Mask
Circa 1975-80 custom made by Protection Inc. HGU-2A/P US Air Force Flight helmet and oxygen mask grouping. Named to 388th Fighter Wing fighter pilot Lieutenant B.J.J. Gull wings cut visor housing to optimize pilot's field of view. 388th Fighter Wing colours. F-16 silhouette. Traces of moleskin tape to prevent scratching the canopy with the visor housing's top. Black leather covered foam headphones housings. Complete with avionics. Matching MBU-5 oxygen mask made by SCOTT, size REGULAR-WIDE, dated 1980, named to the Lieutenant. Lieutenant B.J.J was at that time belonging to the first USAF fighter wing flying the F-16. He was also a Vietnam veteran and member of the Thunderbirds in 1987-88 with number #7. Outstanding piece of military aeromobilia linked to the most famous US military demonstration team.
