VMF-333 US Marine Corps APH-5 Pilot Flight Helmet & Oxygen Mask


US Marine Corps pilot APH-5 flight helmet with matching A-13A oxygen mas, circa 1958/65. 1961 regulatory oxygen mask receivers modification with chromed HARDMAN receivers for  Sierra hardshell. Size "LARGE" with early spring loaded  "Push/Release" visor button. Complete with avionics and leather covered cushion pads. Tinted visor. The shell has been adorned with hand painted shamrocks, VMF-333 "Fighting Shamrocks" Crusdares rudders emblems. The MS-22001 aka A-13A oxygen mask is a Medium size made by ACUSHNET, dated 1963. Complete with a very rare early FIREWELL mini-regulator with matching REDAR hose. Typical F-8 Crusaders pilot equipment. Display bust is included.
