HGU-34/P USMC VMFA-122 Pilot Flight Helmet & Mask

US Marine Corps US Marine Corps Pilot HGU-34 (PKR-37 shell + EEK-4/AP visor cover), size LARGE, circa 1992, rigger made covering with reflective tape and adorned with VMFA-122 Crusaders colors. Shield shaped velcro patch on right side of visor's cover for strobe light fixing. Complete with leather covered pads, earphones and microphone plug on the side. The oxygen mask is a Naval Aviation version of the MBU-5/P with in line AM-3597C/A amplifier and M-2244/5 plug. This is one of the last HGU-34's  issued to the unit before they switched to the boring HGU-55. Superb piece of conversation for your flight helmet collection or office. Due to political considerations and the multiple unit's deployments in muslim countries, the squadron reverted to its WWII nickname WEREWOLVES in 2008. Display is included.
