Black bakelite Vought Corsair F-4U control grip, circa 1943-44 (before the 1944 rockets equipped version). Main trigger for machine guns or cannons, butttons for bombs release on top. Iconic item and piece of history coming from the first US fighter aircraft to top the 643,6 km/h mark. Heavily used by the Marines in 1943 during the Solomon Islands ops and the following years everywhere in the Pacific. The last versions will fly during the Korean War.
