Luftwaffe pilot aircraft cockpit clock, type Fl 23885, german made by Junghans, caliber J30BZ, mechanical hand winding movement with power reserve, chronograph function with reset button. Serial number (Werk Nummer) 023124. 5th pattern (1943-45) with bakelite rotating bezel graduated from 5 to 55. Center sweep seconds hand. Subsidiary minutes dial. On the case's back has been handwritten in German the place in Crimea where the clock has been retrieved from a downed aircraft on January 1st, 1943. Excellent working condition, keeps perfect time. These cockpit clocks have been used on various Luftwaffe aircrafts as Messerschmitts Me109, Messerscmitt Me262, Junkers Ju88, Junkers Ju52, Henkel He111, Focke-Wulf Fw190, etc... Very nice piece of aeromobilia, perfect to complete an aircraft dashboard or use as a display.
