Royal Air Force C type 1st pattern leather pilot flying helmet, complete with US original avionics. 1942 pattern with external wiring, front goggles loops and leather chinstrap. US Army Air Force HS-38 headphones secured with lockwire. 3 snap fasteners and hook for oxygen mask. Excellent condition without any tears or repairs, leather is supple. Rare size LARGE 22C/451. Perfect item for a USAAF 8th Air Force pilot display. Oxygen mask, dispaly bust and goggles are not included.
