1968 US Navy USMC Pilot Mk-3c Life Preserver Vietnam Era
US Navy and Marine Corps pilot life preserver type Mk-3c, complete with inflatable bladder and fittings. Dated 1968, made by SWITLIK. Loops on the back to fasten the set to the MA-2 torso harness belt. Typical early years of Vietnam War issue. Scarce item, especially in this kind of condition. Typical equipment of early Vietnam Naval Aviators on F-8 Crusaders, A-6 Intruders or F-4 Phantoms. The Mk3c will be superseded by the LPA-1 at the beginning of the 70's. Display accessories aren't included.
