Captain David A. Schmidthuber (1932-2016), 1st Cavalry Division, 228th Assault Support Helicopter Battalion grouping. Including his named Meritorious Service Medal with matching papers, Air Medal (unnamed) with citations for 1st, 2nd and 3rd oak leaf clusters for aerial flight in Vietnam for September/October 1965, October/December 1965, January/February 1966, February/March 1966 (300 missions in 7 months). Also included his Gunnery Certificate on CH-47 Chinook dated 1966, Armored Division and 1st Cavalry shoulder patches, pics, original drawing and several documents and certificates related to his retirement.
