Outstanding 1st Troop Carrier Command flying jacket pocket patch realized on leather backing. Diameter 122 mm. Adorned with unit's colors, emblem and motto "Vincit Qui Primum Gerit" (He conquers who gets there first). Instituted April 1942, 1st Troop Carrier Command will be disbanded in April 1945. Troop Carrier Command pilots took part in every major WWII operations, piloting C-47 Dakota and CG-4 Waco gliders.
