Rare & complete Grumman OV-1 Mohawk ejection seat survival kit. The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk (1959-1996) was an observation and attack aircraft used during the Vietnam War by the US Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. The kit is complete and includes :

All the items are dated or matching the 1967-1969 period. The accessories are packed inside an aluminum tray which can be used as a frying pan. It's packed in an OD bag stenciled to the 283rd Aviation Co. These kits were also issued to UH-1 Hueys crews during the Vietnam war.

The OV-1 Mohawk STOL (Short Take-off and Landing) and ground attack capabilities made a perfect alternative to the UH-1 Huey and AH-1 Cobra choppers. For these missions, they were loaded with grenade launchers, Miniguns and guided missiles.
