Rare grouping consisting of a white vinyl cap and flight suit from the US Air Force Vietnam War era. Named to an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) aka as Crow of the 744th Bombardment Squadron flying B-52s. Metal Captain's rank affixed to the front. ECG initials for Electronic Countermeasures Group. These custom vinyl caps, painted in unit colors, were very popular within the Strategic Air Command, as evidenced by numerous period photographs. The set is completed with a K-2B flight suit, size Medium Regular, dated 1965, manufactured by Covington Industries Inc. Originally fitted with a navigator's badge/Combat Systems Officer badge, Captain shoulder ranks, name tape, unit patch, and specialty patch on the left shoulder.
