Set of flight logs and identification papers of a US Navy pilot covering his career from 1942 to 1957. He flew from 1942 on NAF N3N Canary, Vultee SNV-1 "Valiant", PBY Catalina, Martin PBM Mariner, North American SNJ-4 Texan, Curtiss Wright SNC-1, Douglas R-4D Skytrain, Douglas R5D Skymaster, Beechcraft SNB-3, Beechcraft JRB-6 then on jets from 1954 on with the A-3D Skywarrior, the Grumman F-9F Panther and the Lockheed TV-2 Shooting Star. He flew several combat missions on PBM Mariner (patrol, bombing, convoy escort and sweeping) during the year 1944. Beautiful set retracing the career of a US Navy pilot during the Second World War and the immediate post-war period.
