Rigger Modified MA-2 US Navy Jet Pilot Torso Harness

Vietnam era US Navy or Marine Corps pilot MA-2 suit integrated torso harness. Dated 1970. Size X REGULAR. Made by PIONEER. Complete with upper and lower Koch buckles. Talon zipper. "V" shaped recovery ring. Suit has been modified by riggers with red vinyl extra pockets for MC-1 folding knife (included, made by Camillus) and Mk79 signalling kit (included with demiled cartridges). Also included is the 1975 dated SDU-5 strobe light with battery and carrying pouch. These harnesses were standard issue for F-8 Crusader, F-4 Phantom, A-4 Skyhawk, RA5C Vigilante, A-6 Intruder and some later versions of the A-1 Skyraider.
