Circa 1943 US Army Air Force and Navy fighter or bomber pilot seat parachute and harness assembly type AN-6510-1 or S-1. 1943 dated 42G2012 harness. 1943 dated 42N2004-1 parachute pack (for 24 feet canopies). Type 42D2013 back pad. 1943 dated 47565-1 seat cushion. All the parts are made by the same manufacturer ATLANTIC PARACHUTE CORPORATION. Matching number log book with all entries for inspections and repack but no modifications. Canopy still originally folded inside. Small repair near the ripcord cable sleeve on one of the pack's flaps. Typical WWII fighter pilot or C-47, B-17 pilots and aircrew flying gear. The AN-6510-1 (dash 1 means white canopy and dash 2 red and white canopy) has been produced from 1943 to 1944 before being superseded by the S-5 with Irving quick release buckle from 1944 on.
