Named flying helmet and goggles set of a World War II US Navy Naval Aviator. Flying helmet is a summer model type AN-6542, circa 1944. Size MEDIUM. Complete with its ANB-H-1A type earphones, wiring, extension cord and their specific US Navy plug. Also included are its Polaroid-made M-144 US Navy flight goggles dated 1945 and their box in which the set was found. Emblematic piece of equipment for American Naval Air Force pilots during World War II, usable to complete a US NAVY or US MARINE CORPS flight set.
