P-4A US air Force Pilot Flight Helmet & Mask

Circa late 1950's fighter pilot flight helmet and oxygen mask set. Helmet is a P-1B upgraded to P-4A specs, size SMALL, made by GENERAL TEXTILE MILLS INC. (GENTEX). Helmet is complete with H-75 earphones mounted on sprig loaded "top hat" frames, microphone's plug and extension cord. Original USAF transfer matching the helmet's type. Tinted visor with rare silk made protective cover. Oxygen mask is made by MSA, type MS-22001/MBU-3/P pattern dated 1957, size SMALL complete with microphone, cord and plug. Matching 3 pins 57B3661 metal connector connector (which be later used on the MBU-5/P from 1960 on). Also included the CRU-8/P oxygene connector and rigger made carrying bag. Great matching set which belonged to the same pilot, Capt. Ronal O. Hines. Mint condition. Display is included.
