Complete helmet and oxygen mask set belonging to a Vietnam War era US Navy pilot. Helmet: Model APH6-B upgraded to C specs, manufactured by Sierra and dated 1967, size LARGE, with dual clear and tinted visors. Leather shock-absorbing pads, earphones, cord, and plug. Visor cover and shell are covered with reflective tape. Boom mic. Oxygen mask: Model A13-A (MS-22001), manufactured by Sierra and dated 1968, with microphone and MC3-A connector. Size MEDIUM. Hardman hard shell with butterfly fasteners. Very good condition. Display bust included. This type of modification with NEXUS connectors for the helmet/oxygen mask connection is often found on S-3 Viking or S-2 Tracker aircrafts aircrews helmets. The green color used for the reflective material could match the VS-41 Shamrocks squadron.
