Complete helmet and oxygen mask set issued to a F-16 pilot from the 428th Tactical Fighter Squadron "BUCCANEERS" of the US Air Force, circa early 1980s. The helmet is a type HGU-55/P, with single tinted visor with MBU-12/P mask cutout. Size LARGE. Gray leather visor cover with 428th TFS stitched patch. It includes earphones and microphone plug for the oxygen mask. Custom liner made of foam covered in black leather with grey leather earphones cushions. Rare early green latex MBU-12/P oxygen mask made by SCOTT, size LONG, dated 1981. It comes complete with microphone, cord, and plug. The display bust and carrying bag are included. A very nice matching set.
