Outstanding US Air Force pilot type K-1 High Altitude flight helmet. Complete except for the face plate (most have been destroyed by the US Government when they have been sold to prevent suffocation accidents). Maker's label by INTERNATIONAL LATEX CORPORATION dated 1955. Rare opportunity. Sold with display. These helmets have been used with experimental projects but also several jet aircrafts form the 50's like the F-104 Starfighter, F-100 Supersabre, B-47, B-36, etc...
