WWII US Army Air Force pilot type A-11 wristwatch, made by WALTHAM. A special custom bracelet has been made from aircraft grade aluminum on which a pair of Aircrew qualification wings has been welded. 200 mm inner circumference. Runs and keeps time with accuracy on a 36 hours reserve. Circa 1942-43. 1944 contract. 16 jewels grade 10616 mechanical winding movement with setting/winding crown at 3 o'clock. Hacking function. Nickel plated steel case. Perfect to complete a pilot mannequin display or simply wear.
