WWII US Army Air Force pilot type A-11 wristwatch, made by ELGIN, tested, runs and keeps time with accuracy and 36 hours reserve. Circa 1943. 539 grade 16 jewels mechanical winding movement with setting/winding crown at 3 o'clock. Central second hand. Hacking function. Nickel plated steel case. Original OD#3 wristband with ELGIN stamped buckle. Perfect to complete a navigator, bombardier, fighter or bomber pilot mannequin display or simply wear.
