HH or MH 53 USAF / US Army Sikorsky Helicopter Collective and Cyclic Control Grips set. Complete with all markings. Made by BENDIX. Part Numbers S 6142-61416-5AS, BENDIX SM21657-4 and 21329-13. It is equipped with two position right and left engine trim switches, a three position toggle switch, a four position flight trim coolie hat switch, two red push buttons and a two position rocker switch in the “trigger” position for the collective grip. The main grip has a four position flight trim coolie hat switch, trim release, automatic flight control release, cargo release and Auxiliary Start Fuel Shutoff Valve switches. The Sikorsky HH-53 Jolly Green Giant or MH-53 Pave Low helicopters were long-range combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopters for the United States Air Force from the late 60's 'til the end of the 80's. Iconic helicopters of the Vietnam conflict and later US Army special ops around the globe. Superb pieces of memorabilia presented on a plexiglass stand.
