Korean War Era US Air Force L-1 Pilot Flying Suit


Circa 1947-51 OD wool twill US Army Air Force pilot L-1 light flying suit coveralls, US made by L.W FORSTER Size MEDIUM LONG. Complete with original working zippers, perfect size for a mannequin. A great piece of US flying clothing used by P-51 and F-86 Sabre fighter pilots as well as bombers and their crews all along Korean War era. Display items are not included.

Measures taken with suit closed, laying flat:

Shoulders 46 cm / Chest 59 cm / Sleeves 66 cm / Inseam 81 cm.
