WWII Royal Air Force leather pilot flying helmet and oxygen mask set. The C-type is complete with original avionics. 1942 pattern with external wiring, double set of goggles securing straps and leather chinstrap. 10A/13466 receivers stamped A.M (Air Ministry). The rubber cups have been heated to prevent the receivers from poping up. 3 snap fasteners and hook for oxygen mask. Very good condition without any tears or repairs, leather is supple. Size N°3 large (7 1/8 to 7 3/8). The G type Royal Air Force oxygen mask is a size MEDIUM. Entered service in March 1943. Complete with type 26 microphone, cable and jack. Early type with brass connector. Perfect condition. Rubber is pliable, without any cracks. Excellent condition. Perfect set for a RAF or USAAF 8th Air Force pilot display.
