WWII German Luftwaffe Pilot Leather Flying Trousers
Luftwaffe pilot electrically heated leather flight pants. Porcelain buttons, "Ri-Ri" plastic zippers on the sides, "ZIPP" metallic zippers on front and legs. Blue satin lining. Waist pulling straps. Original tag with specs (142-52-A1), size (Ic) , date (1944) and maker's code (RBNr 0/0915/0002) . All the heating resistances running through the pants are there and so are the connectors. The flight pants have all their pockets with inner compartments for survival items. These pants are the lower part of the leather flying suit produced from the end of 1943, "Defense of the Reich" aka "Reichsverteidigung" period and issued to bomber and fighter crews as well as jet pilots on Me-262 or He-162. Boots aren't included.
