1941 pattern ref. 22C/447 Royal Air Force bomber and fighter pilot life preserver vest, circa 1943 with extra pocket for floating signal lamp and battery pack (included), front lifting handles (from 1942 on). Perfect zipper on collar with A.M (Air Ministry) markings. No missing or cut straps. Sold with Pattern 32 tropical bladder (orally inflatable type without gas cartridge), whistle (A.M stamped), skull cap and survival mirror. Nice patina. The right item to display on a Royal Air Force aircrew member or US 8th Air Force fighter pilot. Tunic, shirt, tie and harness aren't included.
