US Navy Jet pilot LPA-2 life preserver. 1978 dated. Made of nylon-aramid material (replaced by Nomex starting in the early 1980s with the LPU series models). The life preserver is complete with inner bladers, CO2 containers have been removed for shipping. Rare item, especially complete, perfect for a US Navy F-4 Phantom, F-8 Crusader and many other US Navy or USMC aircrafts pilot display.
