B-4/AN-6519 pattern life preserver vest aka "Mae-West", US Navy issue. Dated February 1945, made by UNITED STATES RUBBER CO. Complete with all its straps, M556B dye-marker pouch, trigger and emergency inflation devices. One-cell attachable plastic body life jacket light, "Model A" by Colvin Slocum Boats. Rigger made pouches for signals. US Navy proofing stamp. Excellent condition.  AN-6519 will be the new designation for the B-4 life preserver as part of an effort to expedite mass production of a vest that could be issued to the Army or Navy Air Force (A-N=Army-Navy)
