Rare Royal Navy (Fleet Air Arm) pilot's flying helmet, 2nd pattern with inner wiring (circa 1943-44) and zipped leather ear pieces allowing the installation of the "GO-SPORT" communication system or electrical earphones. Large size. Fitted with RCAF earphones type 10A/3698 with cord, side plug for oxygen mask and bell shaped jack. Named inside with FAA service number. Iconic piece of flight gear of the Vickers Supermarine Seafire or Fairey Swordfish pilots and crew. Goggles, display head and oxygen mask are not included.
