US Army Air Force Pilot A-10 Oxygen Mask WWII

Very rare Type A-10 oxygen mask. Size STANDARD. Dated October 1942. Stamped "US ARMY AIR FORCES"; manufactured by Acushnet. The rubber is pliable. Nose clip missing. Includes the specific attachment system for this model, allowing it to be worn without a flying helmet. Crusher and goggles are not included. Most of these models were subsequently modified at the factory due to the impracticality of their fastening system.
