PCU-34 US Navy Pilot Torso Harness Pouches

Circa 1980-90's US Navy jet pilot torso harness pouches set. This is the rigger made pouches set made to modify a PCU-33/P (or MA-2) torso harness into a PCU-34/P  specs with custom survival vest pouches directly stitched on the harness. The set includes a pair of elastic straps for an angle flashlight, one pouch for the SDU-5 strobe light, one pouch for the PRC-90 survival radio and parachute shroud cutter and a pouch for the survival water flask, signal projector, signalling mirror, whistle and compass. This pouch has also a velcro stripe to attach the ReDar hose and oxygen regulator zippered protective cover.

Typical of early F-14 Tomcats aircrews but also F-4 Phantom II, Corsair II and Intruder pilots and aircrews. Major piece of equipment to complete a "by the book" Naval aviator impression.
