US Navy Pilot Anti-G Flying Suit & Torso Harness

Very rare US Navy jet pilot harness and anti-g suit circa 1957-60. Harness is a very early MIL-S-19089 with "D" rings for fastening the CAPEWELL parachute to the RJE (Rocket Jet Engineering Company) ejection seat fastening device. Made by SWITLIK, size LARGE SHORT. Zippered cover for the ReDar oxygen hose. Flying suit is a Z-2 pattern anti-blackout coveralls with integrated pneumatic system. Size 40 SHORT. All the zippers are in working condition. Uncut air hose. Made by BERGER BROS. Typical equipment of early F-8 Crusaders and A-4 Skyhawks pilots. The Mk-3c life preserver isn't included.
These harnesses are difficult to find in their original set up as most existing examples have been modified with second pattern RJE buckles on shoulders and integrated belt for the Mk-3c life preserver.
