Type 42D2013 back pad. 47565-1 seat cushion dated 1942, made by NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE FIBRES. THE CANOPY IS STILL ORIGINALLY FOLDED INSIDE WITH THE SECURITY SEAL. Original log book filled until 1943. Typical WWII fighter pilot or C-47, B-17 pilots and co-pilots flying gear. The AN-6510-1 (dash 1 means white canopy and dash 2 red and white canopy) has been produced from 1943 to 1944 before being superseded by the S-5 with Irving quick release buckle from 1944 on.
