Rare AN-6513-1A Quick Attachable Chest (QAC) "Red Group" bomber crew parachute envelope, complete with canopy, original bungees, rip cord, harness attachment hooks, and log book. Red paint markings on the flap allow for easy identification of the correct parachute envelope in case of emergency (Red = Attachments with hooks on the parachute and rings on the harness). Manufactured by LADY CORSET and dated 1943. This type of parachute equipped Army Air Force bomber crew members such as pilots, gunners, radio operators, flight engineers, etc.
