A standard-issue US Army Air Force "Parachute First-Aid Packet" made of coated canvas. This is the second heat-sealed model issued from 1944 to 1945. The pouch contains a Carlisle-type dressing, a tourniquet, and an empty morphine syret in its original box. These kits were designed to be attached to the parachute harness using the ties (in their original length). The envelope has been neatly torn and can be easily resealed (no material is missing). These kits were also issued to US Army paratroopers during airborne operations Overlord and Market Garden.
