WWII original invasion armband made of canvas with a 48 stars printed Old Glory. Adjustment holes by means of two safety pins (included). Total length 44 cm by 10 cm Heigth. Issued to US pilots as part of the MAPS ONLY escape and survival pouch to identify downed US pilots. Also issued to US paratroopers and landing troops before D-Day and some amphibious and airborne operations afterwards. Bright and crisp colours. Very good condition.
