Rare "Red Group" WWII Army Air Force bomber aircrew QAC (Quick Attachable Chest) AN-6513-1A parachute pack complete with canopy, ripcord, bungees and fastening hooks. Dated 1943, made by SIMMONS COMPANY. Painted with red markings to associate the right parachute pack in emergency (RED=hooks on reserve, rings on harness) with the matching harness. regulation packing security seal still affixed by the "Parachute Riggers". Issued to bomber aircrews as pilots, gunners, radios, flight engineers, etc...
