Complete US Air Force jet pilot helmet and oxygen mask set, circa 1967-1970. The helmet is a large HGU-2A/P model, complete with its H-154 AIC earphones with adjustable mounts and a microphone plug for the oxygen mask. The visor cover and the helmet shell have been originally covered with regulation white and orange reflective tape. The oxygen mask is a Sierra MBU-5 model, dated 1967, regular-wide size, equipped with a microphone, cord and plug, and straight bayonet fittings. It is completed by its 1969 CRU-60/P connector, allowing connection of the emergency oxygen supply and the aircraft's oxygen circulation system to the mask. A complete, matching set from the Vietnam War era, in superb condition. The display stand is included.
