1950's H-3 US Navy Jet Pilot Flight Helmet & Mask

Complete set including helmet, liner, goggles and oxygen mask of a US Navy Jet Pilot, circa 1951-55. Helmet shell is a MEDIUM size H-3 pattern (1951-54) made by "GENTEX" (General Textil), complete with suspension, leather/nylon headband and boom mic, superb original paint, possibly the VF-61 JOLLY ROGERS matching the period when they were flying F-9 Panthers. Matching helmet liner made by SLOTE & KLEIN, complete with earphones, cable and jack. Rigger made snap fastened securing straps. M-1944 flying goggles rigger modified with snaps for the H helmets side straps, dated 1945, stamped USN. Pre-1954 (before the quarters moulds dating system) MS-22001/A-13A oxygen mask made by MSA, size MEDIUM with very rare US Navy specs keeper for the helmet's chinstrap. Complete with microphone, cable, jack and US Navy stamped 191A2 oxygen connector. Display bust is included. Superb piece of vintage Navy aviation memorabilia.
